We are a family owned and operated business. Owen learned how to artificially
inseminate (AI) cattle at the age of 16. The Brown family began to do embryo transfer (ET)
in 1982 for other beef and dairy producers as well as for their own cattle operation.
Today, Owen does all of the ET and AI work for our beef operation with the help of
his wife and two youngest children. We carefully select outstanding genetic crosses and can trace
each animal back to its origin. Then we combine our genetics with a rich, nutritious feed program
to receive a healthy, lean beef that does not neglect tenderness, natural juices, or flavor.
In addition to raising cattle, the Brown family also has some inventing qualities.
They developed the Bale Band-It, a piece of hay equipment, and began marketing it in 1999.

Thank you for visiting GFC and feel free to come again soon!
Sincerely,
The Brown Family |
